NSCAD Wearable Art Show

Date: Usually February or March

Every year students from NSCADUniversity organize The Wearable Art Show fundraiser to support our efforts to make a difference in the community. It’s an entertaining evening highlighting Wearable Art designed by the students and their mentors. You can expect the unexpected each year, and the event never disappoints.

This electrifying event, held since 1990, shows Haligonians the imaginative expression of creativity at NSCAD. It challenges us to look at fashion and art together – in an entirely new way that not only entertains us but inspires us as well. The Wearable Art show has played a significant role in creating awareness and the need to support the programs and services of ACNS, and in turn those living with HIV and at risk.

Over the years, NSCAD students have raised over $100,000. As you can see by the results, their impact on helping others is immeasurable.
